GAMEPLAY

  • You can construct houses like tents, Nissen huts, brick buildings or metal hangars out of single tile pieces. What you can build is limited by the resources you currently have. These mainly house your base personnel, specialised machinery and planes, but excess room and decorations have a big impact on base morale.

  • Contrary to rural base builders, a WWII airplane base can't create complex resources on its own: You are dependent on a shipment every week from HQ with exclusive military tech and building materials. However, these shipments have limited room - the more you can produce yourself through scavenging, farming and trading, the more room you have for things you can’t just craft such as metalworks and military equipment. The same goes for goods that benefit your crew, such as alcohol or tobacco.

  • To help you out, a nearby village will be your main source for trading. You can trade money or produced base commodities for complex goods like bricks, processed food or even base crew hirees. But like your base, the people of the village are shaped by the war. Will you aid them in time of need or exploit it and prioritise the well-being of your base?

  • Periodically, HQ will assign missions to you. These can range from scouting missions and interception of attacks to strategic bombardments and rescue missions. All of these have certain requirements and are time-critical. The faster and better your assigned pilots handle them, the higher the reward and standing from HQ, which results in more money, larger shipments or new ace pilots. Fail to complete them and you will get penalized.
